The Big Moon All Set For Sold Out Leicester Show

On Saturday, Leicester’s The Cookie will open its doors to indie-rock four-piece The Big Moon.

The headline tour follows the release of their Mercury-nominated debut Love in the 4th Dimension. Forming back in early 2015, in lead vocalist Juliette Jackson’s bedroom, the girls’ success has sky-rocketed, providing a refreshing (and much needed) strong female presence in the indie scene. Their heavy guitar riffs, pounding drums and devilish lyrics create hit after hit resulting in an ultra-tight live show. The girls are at the forefront of the return of guitar music, creating a sound that encourages their fans to leap around and take a break from reality.

With support from local lads Superego and dirty pop group Get Inuit, it’s set to be one hell of a show.

Check back with us next week for a full review.
