News – Dolomite Minor on tour with Lyger – Oct/Nov 2013

Dolomite Minor have raged onto the post-modern rock’n’roll scene with great gusto. The unsigned duo from Southampton, consisting of Joe Grimshaw on vocals and guitar, and Max Palmier on drums formed in 2010, and released their debut EP last year.

Tracks like Let Me Go and Microphone are simply succulent, with references to day to day pleasures like Jack Daniels and Kurt Cobain, these Southern lads just know how to have the right mix of blues and dark, heavy rock. They have really brought back the sound of good, raw, music, which you can’t resist to head bang to.

After taking the stage at Reading and Leeds festival this year, they are currently on tour with Lyger in October and November.

“They’ve gorged on the rarities of Kurt Cobain and Led Zeppelin amongst others. Singer Joe Grimshaw is a true dead-eyed souls with a killer voice to Boot” NME
